Buying and moving into a new home always comes with stress, but moving with children can add completely different sets of needs and hassles. The National Association of REALTORS®’ 2017 Moving With Kids Report explores the unique experience of homebuying with kids.
When it comes to selling a home, the main reason people with children 18 and under choose to sell, at 29 percent, is because the home is too small; that is the reason for only 9 percent of people without children at home.
When they buy their new homes, buyers with children tend to purchase larger homes then their childfree counterparts.
