Do you know how fast single-family median home prices have risen in metro San Jose in recent years?
The TODAY show aired an interesting segment this morning on the area’s growing tech industry and the ongoing concern from the community about local neighborhoods becoming too expensive for families.
In the video, TODAY uses NAR Research data to highlight the fact that home prices have increased $200,000 from 2011-2013.
Our most recent data shows that prices continue to rise. We reported last month that San Jose had the most expensive housing market at a median price of $855,000 for a single-family home through 2014 – up from $780,000 in 2013.
